Ericka Danielle Rose, New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Board Certified NYS TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH) is a lifetime resident of New York City’s Ocean Hill community which is located in Brownsville, Brooklyn. With over ten years’ expertise in the helping professions, Ericka has proven her strengths in delivering unbiased and non-judgemental therapy to individuals striving to achieve emotional homeostasis. Ericka‘s greatest passion is in guiding those who have experienced trauma and stressors that are often unique to individuals residing in urban communities. As a native New Yorker, Ericka has witnessed and overcome her fair share of trauma and stress; and she feels compelled to assist others in identifying and building upon their inner strengths so they, too, can maximize their life’s potentials. 

One of Ericka’s primary objectives is to help build trust and confidence in the delivery of therapeutic practices that are often feared, stigmatized, and shunned by underserved populations. By ensuring respectful, compassionate, culturally safe, and dignified therapy, Ericka feels that the roadblocks to accessing therapeutic counseling that has long existed will eventually be obliterated; thus, the pursuit of inner-healing will become fully accepted as excellence in self-care in all communities.
